We would rather be correct than impressive
Overrun exists because every payback figure we saw had the miss rate quietly set to zero. We have shipped four agents into production, in wholesale, insurance, software and logistics, and every one of them misses some of the time.
That is not a disclaimer, it is the job. An agent that clears ninety-two percent of a brutal queue is still worth building, and claiming it clears all of it is the fastest way to lose the client by month three. So we price the other eight percent up front, put it in the proposal, and let the number come in smaller.
It loses us a few pitches against studios quoting the clean number. It has never once cost us a renewal.
